Details
This wall sculpture has a keyhole on the back to hang. The bevelled sides are painted fluorescent green and reflects off the wall to cast a glow. This glow is a part of the work that is alive and changes with the light.
The shapes and forms that dominated in my two dimensional work have taken on a life of their own in this series. The integration of these elements onto a flat surface is no longer appropriate to what I’d like to express. A more sculptural approach is necessary, as well as a distillation into more isolated forms.
